1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Mealcious, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use.

2. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all account activity
  • Notify us of unauthorized access

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass or discriminate against other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access
  • Submit false or misleading health information
  • Scrape or automate access without permission
  • Share or misuse other users' information

4. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality (including software) are owned by Mealcious or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you create but grant us a license to use it.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Mealcious is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mealcious shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or data
  • Business interruption
  • Damages exceeding the amount you paid us

7. Subscription & Billing (Restaurants)

Subscription Plans

Restaurant subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. Cancellation can be made anytime through your account.

Payment

You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees. Failed payments may result in service suspension.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. Refunds after 14 days are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription anytime without penalty. Your access continues until the end of your billing period.

Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days and then deleted unless you request export.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mealcious from any claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms, non-payment, or other material breaches. You may cancel anytime.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, except for intellectual property claims which may be brought in court.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
